********************************************************* * This firmware is for the following products: * * -------------------------------------------- * * 7743DLY-HDSD * ********************************************************* Version 1.01 build 45 (July 17, 2008) --------------------------------------- - Added an 'Auto-detect' mode to the VideoStandard control - Improved free running output jitter in HD and SD mode - Added new DIP switch setting for Auto mode: ON(down) ON(down) ON(down) OFF(up) - Added Valid reference chart in the VLPro operation (requires jar build 26) - Enabled SD embedded audio when the OSD is ON - Adjusted V/H phase offset when the V/H=1/0 (reference V/H phase offset control) - Corrected the reference H phase for 720p/50 (certain samples) - Corrected SD output being unstable when delay is applied - Improved total(user) video delay readings Note: The jar file build 26 is required for utilizing the Auto-detect mode Version 1.00 build 299 (July 20, 2006) ----------------------------------------- - added output muting until delay is accumulated - improved tri-level lock - fixed rare OSD corruption problem - corrected 625i/50 field swap with bi-level - improved HD/SD input handling during upstream switches - New DIP switch setting for 720p/50 genlock: ON, OFF, OFF, ON Version 1.00 build 187 (March 31, 2006) ----------------------------------------- - correction to Genlock input - added support for 720p/50 support - correction to 525 and 625 video flicker with no Genlock input - correction Total Delay Time display Version 1.00 build 105 (October 25, 2005) ----------------------------------------- - correction to font size used when SD-SDI video applied to input Version 1.00 build 102 (September 12, 2005) ------------------------------------------- - fixed power-up issue of V/H phase and delay changes: 1. V/H phasing problem happens if the card initially takes longer time to find the correct video standard. The problem became obvious when the card was not pushed in totally, the detected video standard changed constantly, and so the V/H phase became flawed. 2. Delay problem happens only when the entire frame is powered up at once that the delay card takes a longer time to look for a correct standard. The correct delay values are not being updated after correct standard is found. When the card is powered up by itself, the problem cannot be detected. - The fix is to include presets for every single video standard and a better initialization routine. So each standard has its own V/H phase, and F/L/S delay. This feature would be helpful to users remembering different settings for different standards. - Note: the OSD will exit itself after 30 seconds of inactivity and whatever it is in the menu will get saved. This feature has already been added since last release of firmware Version 1.00 build 46 (November 8, 2004) ---------------------------------------- - corrected SD delayed video output when no genlock applied - corrected minimum delay value displayed on the OSD - corrected phase offset with genlock applied and reference H/V values set to default Version 1.00 build 15 (May 13, 2004) ------------------------------------ - fix for output video timing when delay is set Version 1.00 build 9 (March 22, 2004) ------------------------------------- - initial release
