The 2408LPS-2 is a standalone dual port LNB power inserter in a high performance and compact platform for inserting DC power via coaxial cable to two LNBs. Can be mounted in the 2400ODU with redundant power supplies.
On the RF input connectors, the module provides +13/+14/+18/+19V DC power and 22kHz tone generation, with low RF insertion loss along with 10MHz injection to LNB.
The 2408LPS-2 also features dynamic or static short circuit current protection; dynamic mode features continuous short circuit check and automatic recovery, while static mode disables DC voltage until a reset is performed. Both modes indicate the short circuit condition on card LEDs, WebGUI and SNMP/VistaLINK® PRO.
For outdoor applications, the 2408LPS-2 is available in a weatherproof (+WP) IP65-rated version, presenting an ideal solution for mounting on or near an antenna structure. The DC power input is via a F-type connector.
The 2408LPS-2 has an Ethernet control port for remote webpage access, along with SNMP support for remote monitoring and control via SNMP or VistaLINK® PRO software, such as LNB current and RF input power monitoring.
