EQX-UHD: a 12G-SDI Enterprise Class router! Designed to support full 4K and UHD 12Gbps single-wire signals while adopting the same fundamental modular design philosophies and core redundancy concepts found in our 3G EQX routers, EQX-UHD is ideal for mission-critical and demanding 24/7 environments. A passive backplane and fully modular design allow for all critical active components to be hot-swappable from the front of the router. Featuring industry-leading path-by-path signal redundancy with redundant power, dual hot-swappable frame controllers and hot-swappable cooling fans, EQX-UHD is a true broadcast-quality enterprise router!
10RU Frame
Designed to be future-ready for 180x180 12Gbps SDI signals and suitable for many mid-sized UHD/4K applications like mobile production, mobile flight packs, network and local broadcasters, cable, sports and esports venues, military, government and corporate applications.
Input/Output Modules
With separate input and output modules, asymmetrical design are possible to fit your needs, the I/O cards functionality are no exception with support of different frame rates on a per-port basis, processing like 2sI-based 4:1 and 1:4 translation. As well a number of software enabled features like TDM audio for de-embed and re-embed, frame sync for timing asynchronous and/or unlocked signals.
Core Processing Capabilities
With de-embed and re-embed, the EQX-UHD has optional ADMX hybrid main/backup crosspoints, allowing the use of the full EMR-TDM audio module suite for integration of discrete audio without using up the valuable video ports on the router.
